“My entire theology can be condensed into 4 words: ‘Jesus died for me.'” – C.H. Spurgeon —
No doubt that is the main reason Spurgeon is known as ,”The Prince of Preachers”.
This great preacher always pointed others to our Great Savior, Jesus Christ.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
(Galatians 2:20)

It’s true of all the greatest, most effective preachers, isn’t it? They REALLY KNEW Jesus, and their whole passion was to make sure others REALLY KNEW Him as well. They gave all they had to fulfilling that passion — instead of focusing on building themselves quadri-plex “temples,” installing coffee-houses in their churches, creating gymnasiums and sports fields, and turning Bible classes into Book Clubs called “Round-table discussions” of books by unanointed, self-appointed “teachers.”

Indeed hangingoutwithgod,
“We are not saved by Jesus’ teaching, but by Jesus.” Mark Driscoll
No other religion had its founder die for the followers and then offers righteousness to them as a gift they receive.

God bless,

YES! Jesus died for me – and He lives for me – and He is coming back for me, when I shall be with Him forever.
