Darwin didn’t know in 1838 what we know now after decades of scientific research.
The missing link on which Darwin’s theory depends, never existed.
Darwin’s theory has evolved into an epic fail.
Darwin’s”science” can’t pass the test of scientific method.
Darwin’s theory of “Differences of Kind” does not stand up to it’s own test of ,”Observable Evidence”.
Darwin’s theory unravels with the introduction of “millions of years” thus again failing the “Observable Evidence” test.
Darwin’s “finches” show only adaptation, not what Darwin theorized to be “Differences of Kind”.
Neither biology or the fossil record show any proof in the form of “Observable Evidence” of “Differences of Kind” or transitional links in kinds among the 14 species of living things.
As time goes on, the evolution of scientific sophistication and accumulation of scientific evidence only confirms what we were told in the beginning.

I was taught that the Earth was a molten mass, around 7,700 degrees, billions of years ago. I was also taught that anything over 212 degrees at sea level would be a sterile environment, (no life). Where could the life come from in a sterile environment? Lightening strikes? Again, thousands of degrees of electricity. The acceptance or rejection of a hypothesis was based on the desired result of the hypothesis, not on the reasonable consideration of the data. “ALIENS… the life came from outer space”, so, THEIR planet was NOT 7,700 degrees billions of years ago? “Well, where ELSE could it come from?” NOW I’ve got your attention! And ANOTHER thing that defies understanding… the “big bang” was a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION that littered the ENTIRE UNIVERSE with “debris”, and it was a CREATIVE explosion, not destructive? I just don’t have that level of faith.
I asked an atheist “if a vial was sterilized and placed on a shelf in a lab, how long would it take to develop life inside, a day, a month a year…” He finally settled on 237,500 years. He said he “could believe that in 237,500 years there could be life in that vial”. I told him “so what you’re saying to me is that a lab worker would walk in to the room 237,499 years, 364 days from now and say ‘tomorrow there will be life in that in that vial’, and he said ‘THAT doesn’t make any sense!'” He became a Christian believer within the next hour. I distilled the time argument to a time-frame he could grasp, and it made the “billions of years” irrelevant… it forced the subject matter into LOGIC instead of faith (in evolution) and then the conundrum forced it back to faith IN THE CORRECT RECIPIENT of faith.

Well said Papabear. I’m aware of the Prejudice of the Heart and how it can compromise the integrity of the intellect. It is rare to hear about a conversion in that context but I know it does happen. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, every conversion is a new story, but I was blessed to skew the odds by being part of THAT one. I was a “fire-breathing” atheist until I actually dared God to exist in a “sinners prayer”, and you can probably guess what the result was. All I needed was a larger love of the truth than committment to my world view. Thanks for your work/response. I just found this sight this morning, (on Facebook if I recall correctly).
