“This cult ,(yes, it fills all the requirements for being a cult), is known for making its founders sign billion year contracts, soaking them for tens of thousands of dollars under contracts that stand up in court, aliens from beyond our solar system are part of their doctrine, they ,”go after”, their detractors. “

This ,”Church”, is now in the business of selling themselves as a ,”non-religion”, and promising communities who are struggling with crime and blight that they can bring reform through promoting Scientology beliefs and doctrines.

Scientology is a predatory religious cult. Make no mistake about that mo matter how they portray themselves.

I have personally known Christians who have been in debt to the Church of Scientology for extremely large sums of money. I know a Christian family who could have purchased a house for what they owed the Church of Scientology and they could not get out of that contractual obligation.

They call themselves , “CHURCH”, of Scientology, but try to portray themselves as not being religious.

And that is only the tip of this sudo-religious iceberg.

I try to always read reviews about movies before I go to see them.

The case of ,”The Master”, the reviews are fairly consistent in regards to content. I won’t be watching this one, but if you are curious, read the link I’ve provided.

Most reviews for the movie say the portrayal of the main characters in the movie reveals this cult was founded by leaders who were immoral in real life. In fact, many reviews reveal that viewers find the content revolting.

Many who have reviewed the movie say they don’t know what message the director was trying to communicate to his audience.

The movie may be based on reality in regards to the cult’s founders, in which case the message appears to be heard loud and clear.
Leah Remini, the the co star of ,”King of Queens”, recently left the Church of Scientology.
She has been outspoken as to the cult as being severe and dictatorial.

If you are thinking of seeing the movie,”The Master”, because it is rumored to be about the Church of Scientology, you will find the informational link below helpful.http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/07/19/is-the-master-based-on-scientology-and-l-ron-hubbard.htmlhttp://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/07/19/is-the-master-based-on-scientology-and-l-ron-hubbard.html

If you ever wondered about the Church of Scientology, the person whom the movie is titled after, the fictional character named Lancaster Dodd, is said to be depicting L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of the Church of Scientology. This cult ,(yes, it fills all the requirements for being a cult), is known for making its founders sign billion year contracts, soaking them for tens of thousands of dollars under contracts that stand up in court, aliens from beyond our solar system are part of their doctrine, they ,”go after”, their detractors.

Anytime a cult can dupe big names like, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and will Smith, it will garner a lot of attention. In this case enough attention to make this movie.

As Christians, we should be all about our master Jesus Christ. And that is exactly why Christians should be aware of and concerned about the growth of religions that are not Christians.

For every soul that commits to a Counterfeit god, that is one less soul saved from eternity in Hell, without the glorious presences of Christ ,our Savior.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,  in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:6-9)
