Righteousness Comes By God’s Presence – Not By The Mere Absence Of Sin
If we embrace what’s missing , it will displace what’s there.
In our case what’s missing is Christ and His perfect righteousness.
What’s there is sin and our imperfect self righteousness.
The problem is not that we have sin in our lives, so much as the problem is that we need Jesus in our lives.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
“For he made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5: 17, 21
“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Romans 5:5
If you are struggling with something that has a death grip on your life, ask Jesus to save you and believe in your heart that He can.
Jesus will come in and start the process to displace whats there.
Embrace to displace.

Thanks for your article. We love him, because he first loved us. To quote John. Also this came to mind.
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Leon,
The goodness of God. We can never fully grasp all that the Father has given us through Christ.
Thanks Brother
